Name: Mabel Pines

Appearance: Mabel has long, thick, wavy brown hair, a round face, and braces. She usually wears slightly oversized sweaters (which she knits herself!) with an above-the-knee skirt and black flats, with her hair pulled back by a headband. wiki description and some images
Background Questions:
1) What does your character do by daylight?  Middle school student.
2) What are they fighting for? Um, this is the COOLEST thing that has EVER happened - how could you POSSIBLY say no to becoming an ANCIENT MAGICAL ALIEN WARRIOR PRINCESS? Okay, fine, not really a princess, but it sounds pretty awesome like that, right?
3) Who matters most to them? Mabel is frequently inseparable from her twin. She's 5 minutes older and 1 millimeter taller than Dipper, but that doesn't keep him from being the serious counterpart to her silly. Like all siblings, they get on each other's nerves, but at the end of the day they're also each other's best friends. Her other best friends are summers-at-the-Shack friends, and she has a pet pig named Waddles that lives there also. She would die for Waddles.
4) How did they get to now? Mabel and her twin have had a fairly normal upper-middle-class upbringing with busy-but-caring parents. During school breaks they're often shipped off to various camps, but their favorite is visiting their great-uncle's Mystery Shack in a woodsy area of the countryside. He allows them a lot more autonomy than they get at home, so they're free to tromp around the woods solving little "mysteries" they make up for themselves. Mabel is too weird to be popular, but she's very likable and has a very easy time making new friends, so she maintains a whole flock of penpals across the country met on said vacations. 

Personality Questions:
1) What would make your character happiest or fulfilled? Right now, she thinks it's a relationship - Mabel is a little boy-crazy, in the very innocent way that 13-year-olds reading teen magazines can be. She also delights in power, again in a fairly innocent sense - her dream job is President. In general, she craves being liked and appreciated - in reality, it's not specifically a romantic relationship that she needs, but to somehow be recognized as good/important/worthy - and at the heart of it, not just adorable and charming, but truly valued for being herself.

2) What does your character fear the most? Mabel is generally unapologetically herself, to the extreme - but she's sensitive to rejection, particularly when people are laughing at her instead of with her. She knows she's silly, but most people could use a little more silly in their life from time to time - it's charming, right? Right?? She's also insecure about comparisons to her twin, who is more successful academically and in general more "serious" and "mature". In a broader sense her greatest fear is probably being alone/abandoned. 

3) What does your character think their greatest strength is? What is their actual greatest strength? Mabel's greatest strength is her heart - she's loving, loyal, determined, passionate, dedicated, enthusiastic - when she puts her mind to something, very little will get in her way, and nothing will come between her and her friends. She probably thinks her greatest strength is her art though. She will make a stab at ANY type of arts and crafts, and often invents new ones herself.

Starting Power: SPARKLE ON! Mabel throws a large handful of glitter at her target. To an ally, it applies a buff in the form of a moment of inspiration - perhaps a novel approach to a problem might present itself, or a new use for an item. Also, now they are sparkly!!!! Activation phrase is SPARKLE ON, YOU [adjective] [noun]!, for example, SPARKLE ON, YOU BEAUTIFUL MERMAID!

Awakening: A dream. Having wacky, vivid dreams isn't an unusual occurrence for Mabel's active imagination, but the final battle of the Nova Knights was a little too vivid... and that morning when Mabel started the day with "OH my gosh Dipper, I had this CRAZY dream..." she cut herself off upon noticing the very real charm (shaped like a shooting star) clutched in her hand. 

Past Life Questions:
1) What was their past life’s role on The Nashira? What kind of life did they lead on Hassaleh before their exodus? As a Hassalean, she was an artist and a member of a Lesser Constellation (definitely not a princess, do not listen to her). Her passion and ability for art was noted at an early age and nurtured/supported by her Constellation, resulting in a successful career as a self-supported artist. Her work tended toward the avant-garde - novelty is really the key word - very experimental, always trying out new mediums and reinventing her style. She respected tradition in every other way, and was generally satisfied and happy with her place in society and with her life's path. She did have a twin, but they were well into independent adulthood, probably approaching middle-age, by the time of Hassaleh's destruction. She was an evacuee, not a member of the crew, but quickly assigned herself to the important role of Improving Morale. She also helped care for the animals. 
2) What, if anything, about their past life has echoes in their current life? Mabel is an artist, but her past life was an Artist - once she regains more memories, she might be a little intimidated by the amount of status associated with a successful art career among the Hassaleans, but also like "heck yeah of COURSE art is one of the most impressive things you can do with your life, these guys knew what's UP". She will also become convinced that Waddles is the reincarnation of whatever pet she had aboard the Nashira and that they are soulmates. (This may or may not actually be true.)
3) What was their past life’s dying wish? for somehow, something beautiful to come of this
